The company has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the Government of Bihar to invest Rs 10,000 crore to set up a 150 MW hyperscale AI factory in Bodh Gaya, in addition to inaugurating its datacenter in Patna.
The company’s Rs 400-crore AI and cloud-ready datacenter in Patna was formally inaugurated in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Samrat Choudhary. The datacenter currently offers an IT load of 12 MW with the potential to expand as per future demand.
Located in the Patliputra Industrial Area, Patna, the company’s datacenter facility will support the growing digital infrastructure needs of enterprises, government institutions, hyperscalers and technology businesses in Bihar and Eastern India.
The greenfield natural disaster-proof, military-grade security, and energy-efficient datacenter expands CtrlS Datacenters’ footprint in the region, further strengthening Bihar’s digital infrastructure landscape and reinforcing its commitment to supporting the growth of Eastern India’s evolving datacenter ecosystem.
Sridhar Pinnapureddy, Founder & CEO of CtrlS Datacenters, said, “We are committed to strengthening Bihar’s digital infrastructure and building a robust IT ecosystem through our future-ready datacenters, designed to serve the evolving needs of hyperscalers, enterprises, and startups. We sincerely appreciate the Government of Bihar for creating a conducive policy environment, fostering an industry-friendly business climate, and providing attractive incentives that have supported our investment in the State.”
Pinnapureddy added, “Together with our ecosystem partners, we are bringing significant investments into Bihar while creating new employment opportunities and contributing to the region’s economic growth. The strong market potential and growing demand for digital infrastructure have reinforced our confidence in Bihar. In response to this opportunity, CtrlS Datacenters has established this greenfield datacenter in Patna, further strengthening the State’s digital infrastructure ecosystem.”
Looking ahead, CtrlS Datacenters is focused on building a hyper-connected network of datacenters across India and beyond, extending reliable digital infrastructure closer to emerging demand hubs. As part of this strategy, the company plans to establish 20+ Edge datacenters across Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities in India over the coming years.
